Menjawab tudingan LHP tersebut Komjen Agus Andrianto membantah, dan balik menuding bahwa Ferdy Sambo dan Hendra Kurniawan diduga pihak yang menerima aliran dana tersebut, hingga mereka melepaskan Ismail Bolong pada saat itu. “Lempar batu untuk alihkan isu,” ujar Komjen Agus.
“Keterangan saja tidak cukup, apalagi sudah diklarifikasi karena dipaksa,” pungkas Komjen Agus, Jumat (25/11/2022) saat menjelaskan tentang Ismail Bolong yang melakukan klarifkasi terkait pengakuannya atas intimidasi mantan Karo Paminal Div Propam Polri Hendra Kurniawan.
Tudingan kepada Komjen Agus Andrianto tidak berhenti di situ, serangan dari berbagai penjuru diarahkan kepada dirinya. Pada hari Rabu, 30 November 2022 Koordinator Koalisi Solidaritas Pemuda Mahasiswa, Giefrans Mahendra melaporkan Komjen Agus ke Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) dengan menyerahkan sejumlah alat bukti.
Alat bukti yang diserahkan Giefrans kepada KPK adalah LHP yang disusun oleh Divisi Profesi dan Pengamanan Polri. Ketika LHP tersebut beredar di kalangan awak media massa, Komjen Agus pernah menyampaikan keterangan, “Seingat saya belum pernah diperiksa. Keluarkan saja Berita Acara-nya,” ucap Komjen Agus, Selasa (29/11).
Mengutip berita tempo.co, Rabu, 23 November 2022, Kapolri Jenderal Listiyo Sigit Prabowo memerintahkan jajarannya untuk menangkap pelaku tambang batu bara ilegal, Ismail Bolong, “Supaya lebih jelas, lebih baik tangkap saja, “ kata Kapolri kepada Majalah Tempo, Jum’at, 18 November 2022.
