Tanjung Balai, MRN – Pangkalan TNI AL Tanjung Balai Asahan melaksanakan Upacara Pembukaan Orientasi dan OJT 2 Bintara Remaja dan 6 Tamtama Remaja penempatan Lanal Tanjung Balai Asahan, berlangsung di Lapangan Apel Mako Lanal Tanjung Balai Asahan, Senin (17/10/2022).
Sebelum pelaksanaan pembukaan Orientasi dan OJT, Para Bintara dan Tamtama Remaja melakukan Long March dari Mess Suwarso Tanjungbalai menuju Mako Lanal Tanjung Balai Asahan.
Dalam amanatnya, Komandan Lanal TBA Letkol Laut (P) Aan Prana Tuah Sebayang, S.E., D.W.C., yang diwakili Pjs. Pasop Lanal TBA Kapten Laut (P) Juswan Simamora mengatakan bahwa kegiatan orientasi satuan merupakan tradisi yang wajib dilaksanakan prajurit remaja guna membentuk karakter dan jati diri prajurit TNI Angkatan Laut.
Hal tersebut sesuai dengan salah satu perintah harian Kepala Staf Angkatan Laut Laksamana TNI Yudo Margono yakni bangun sumber daya manusia yang unggul dan profesional serta tangguh menghadapi segala ancaman.
