Indonesia, South Manokwari – MRN: Danrindam XVIII/Ksr Colonel Inf Ferry Irawan, SIP has officially launched the commencement of the First Academic for Enlisted TNI-AD Batch II OV and OTSUS TA. 2022 Kodam XVIII/Ksr.
The event took place at the Rindam XVIII Ceremony yard /KSR, located on Jl. Trans Manokwari – Bintuni, Momi Waren District, South Manokwari Regency, West Papua, on Saturday (26/11/2022).
It is worth mentioning that around 410 outstanding male individuals from all over West Papua are participating in the academic program at Rindam XVIII/Ksr.

This group is divided into two categories, with 150 individuals in the Regular Pk Dikmata and 260 individuals in the Special Otsus Dikmata. The academic program is expected to last for approximately 20 weeks.
In the Pangdam XVIII/Ksr mandate, Major General TNI Gabriel Lema, S.sos was represented by Danrindam XVIII/Ksr Colonel Inf Ferry Irawan, SIP during the ceremony inspection.

The purpose of this academic endeavor is to mold Dikmata TNI-AD student soldiers into Tamtama TNI-AD who embody the values of soldiers as outlined in Sapta Marga, the soldier’s oath, and the eight mandatory TNI regulations.
The students must possess both knowledge and basic soldiering skills, in addition to maintaining a strong physical presence.
This is achieved through the Three Essential System (Tri Pola Dasar) of education, which is overseen by the Indonesian Army’s educational institution,” he announced.
Rindam XVIII/Ksr serves as a professional educational institution, upholding the motto “VIANIAU VIADIDIN VISIERU”, emphasizing learning, practice, and achievement.
This ensures that student soldiers are equipped with the necessary mental and physical capabilities to excel in their educational pursuits,” he concluded.

Danrindam emphasized the importance of seizing the valuable opportunity presented, as it marks the beginning of one’s career and commitment as a soldier.
Additionally, he stressed the significance of adhering to all regulations within the institution to ensure safety and avoid potential educational risks that could jeopardize both oneself and the TNI-AD.
